Bratin Khan
Kolkata, India

Born in Kolkata, Bratin Khan from Vishwa Bharti University, Shantiniketan. The influence of Shantiniketan is clear in his handling of line and colour. Khan is inspired by Indian mythology, religion and fokelore. Using Tempera as a medium, he paints in a distinct and unique style that he has mastered over the years. Nature plays an important role in all his paintings. His figures are graceful and freeflowing and light or glow emerges from their faces. His eye for details and commendable mastery of line make his style unique.
