Or, you may have a specific need in mind – like a specific type of work or a cityscape or an artist- that you couldn’t trace on the site. Or you may be an interior designer who needs a large number of artworks to do up an entire home or office space.
Whatever your need, our art advisory team will help you find, shortlist and purchase the art of your dreams. We will take your requirements, identify and shortlist works, and even create a look-book, so you can find the right piece of art.
It is true that different mediums all have unique qualities. For eg, the beauty of oil mostly stems from the layering or texturing technique used by an artist to create depth. On the other hand, watercolours are more whimsical, and their colours really impact a space.
At Easel Stories, we always recommend that you choose a piece of art not by the medium but on the basis of what it makes you feel. Also keep in mind that different mediums require different care and handling. So for eg avoid works on paper in moist and humid climate places or go for glass mounts.
The photographs of artworks on Easel Stories website go through many quality checks before they’re uploaded, so it’s as close to the original as possible in a photo. Of course the artwork will look much better in reality. Keep in mind that the impact of art depends on many different things - the size, the mount, the frame, the light received on the surface, and many other factors.
Courier & Delivery
Depending on your location, the delivery of your artwork will take approximately 7-15 days from the time that you place the order(exceptions to international shipping). We will do our best to keep you informed at every stage, and you will be notified of the courier details by email. In most cases, you can also track the shipment online.
Easel Stories tries its best to get your artwork to your home as soon as possible. You will receive notifications via e-mails from us at every stage of the process, but don’t forget to ensure that your contact details with us are updated, and correct!
Firstly we’re sorry your order was damaged in transit. We know you’re disappointed but don’t worry, all you need to do is send us photographs of the artwork, indicating the nature of the damage at email@example.com and we will assess the claim and issue you a credit note if found valid.
The shipping condition of each work is mentioned alongside its details on the website. However, normally, Easel Stories prefers to courier artworks 'rolled' to minimise chances of damage in transit. Also we do believe that you’d like to choose your own frame.
At Easel Stories, we believe that there’s only one rule to installing art – make it stand apart. Choose settings, frames, mounts and walls to make sure that the artwork gets the attention it deserves. Your beautiful artwork shouldn’t be overpowered by anything else. Simple, clean backgrounds are best to make your artwork the focal point of attention. Try to hang paintings in such a way that the focal point is at eye level. Ensure a good ‘viewing distance’ for any painting- normally 2-3 feet away. If you’ve got glass on a painting, make sure no light reflects off it, blocking the view.
Illuminate the depth and beauty canvas paintings by installing some spot lighting over it. Ensure that canvas works are stretched and framed without glass, and paper artworks are framed with mount and glass. Make sure your artowrk is protected from direct sunlight and moisture.
